Meazurem collects information of you when you visit, use and interact with Meazurem.
When you register to use Meazurem, we will ask you for your email address and password of your choosing. Your password will be maintained on our system in a secured form. You can also register through your Facebook or Google account. If you choose this method, we receive and collect your email address and your Facebook or Google identification number accordingly. We use the collected personal data that we obtain at registration, for the sole and exclusive purpose of providing our services to you and allowing you to use our service.
When you use our services, we may collect personal data from you.
After you register, you will be able to submit your phone number to us. The phone number is only used for sending SMS alerts, which you define and control.
Because the nature of our service, information about your gateways, sensors, alerts and environmental conditions is stored and maintained on our servers. We do this so that we can provide our services to you, and so that you can access your data whenever you want.
We may use your contact information to communicate with you about service activity, provide support, and send you other information such as product updates and announcements. These communications specifically won’t be marketing communications, but will rather be informational items. You won’t be able to opt-out of these important messages. You may also be asked questions about our services. We collect this information so that we can help you with anything you need and continue improving our service.
We collect information about the use of your account, such as how much storage you are using, how often you log in, and other information related to your registration and use of our services. We use this information internally to deliver the best possible services to you.
When you use our services, we collect certain log information. This information usually includes the browser type or app version you used, your Internet Protocol address, and the date and time of day. As a basic matter, we need this information to help us provide our services to you. In addition, we log this information for internal business purposes. The log information is also important for security, audit and quality improvement purposes.

When you share a sensor data with other user, all the sensor information, including the history data, will be shared. Your email address will be shared with the user too. You can, at any time, remove the share and revoke access to the data.
When you add a shared sensor to your account, you will gain access to the data from the sharing user. Your email address will be shared with the user who shared the sensor with you after you activate the share. You can remove the share from your account anytime.
Although we take the protection and storage of your personal data very seriously, and we take all reasonable steps to protect it, we cannot be responsible for data breaches that occur outside of our reasonable control. We will, however, follow all applicable laws in the event a data breach occurs, including taking reasonable measures to mitigate any harm as well as notifying you of such breaches as soon as possible.
You are free to refuse our request for your personal information, with the understanding that we may be unable to provide you with some of your desired services.
You have the right to know what we know about you and obtain your information.
If you would like to delete your account and all your information, you can do it via the applications. Data availability requirements mean that we have a legitimate interest in maintaining secure and immutable backups. Erasure requests will leave those backups untouched. After deletion of your account, we keep your information in the backups for 30 days.
